Developed through a collaborative partnership between Salesforce and K2 University, this 12-week paid fellowship is designed to provide certified, unemployed job seekers hands-on work experience, mentorship, and professional connections with Salesforce partner companies.
Becoming a Fellow
The Salesforce Talent Alliance Fellowship is a partnership between Salesforce and K2 to provide job seekers with an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience, fostering career growth and development in the Salesforce Ecosystem. This Fellowship offers a 12-week paid experience, which provides candidates from diverse backgrounds hands-on work experience, mentorship and professional connections.
Fellows are hosted by Salesforce partners and customers who are committed to growing their talent pipeline with strong, skilled and diverse talent. To be eligible, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Earned at least one Salesforce certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Have not held more than 6 months paid work experience within the Salesforce ecosystem/within a Salesforce role

What is the Salesforce Talent Alliance?
Where are the employers located?
The employers are in the USA and the work will either be remote or onsite, depending on the employers’ needs.
How will fellows be paired with companies?
Potential candidates and hosts will first be screened by K2 to share details about the program and ensure best fit. Host companies will then have the opportunity to interview candidates of interest. Following interviews, fellowship placements will be made based on the preferences of both the host and candidates.
When will the fellowship take place?
The next fellowship will begin on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 and there will be additional cohorts hosted throughout 2022
What happens after I apply?
Once your application is received, the K2 University Talent Alliance Fellowship team will review your application and contact you using the email address you provided. We’ll let you know about any required next steps, additional information requirements such as professional references or application requirements, and status updates.

How many hours do fellows work?
The fellowship is a full-time commitment that requires fellows to be available 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, excluding any holidays.
I’m an employer, where can I go to request a fellow?
If you are a Salesforce Partner, you can apply to host a fellow.
What happens at the end of the fellowship?
If the host company has an open role that fits the fellow’s skills, the host may extend an offer to the fellow. Alternatively, we will connect the fellow to a variety of employment resources and open opportunities.
