We are seeking a Senior AI Solution Architect to support a large-scale AI and technology modernization initiative within a financial services organization. This role will partner closely with enterprise architecture, engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders to identify, design, and deliver AI-driven solutions across multiple banking and enterprise initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong AI/GenAI architecture expertise, hands-on solutioning experience, cloud-native architecture knowledge, and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
AI Solution Architecture & Design:
- Design scalable AI/GenAI solution architectures aligned with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML and GenAI technologies to business processes, operational workflows, and modernization initiatives.
- Design and integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, APIs, data platforms, and banking applications.
- Contribute to low-level and solution-level architecture decisions for AI-enabled applications and platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI models, frameworks, and integration patterns based on business and technical requirements.
AI Platforms & Technologies:
- Work with enterprise AI platforms and services including:
- AWS Bedrock
- Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio
- OpenAI / GPT models
- Claude / Sonnet / Opus models
- Llama, Mistral, Gemma, and other open-source models
Support GenAI use cases such as:
- Enterprise copilots
- Document intelligence
- Fraud/risk analysis
- Enterprise automation
- AI-assisted operations and workflows
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and engineering teams to define AI use cases and solution approaches.
- Translate business requirements into scalable AI-enabled solution designs.
- Present technical concepts and architecture decisions clearly to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and risk teams within regulated banking environments.
Delivery & Technical Leadership:
- Lead architecture and technical design discussions for AI initiatives.
- Guide engineering teams implementing AI-enabled applications and integrations.
- Support AI governance, model risk considerations, and enterprise AI best practices.
- Contribute to enterprise AI roadmaps, standards, and implementation approaches.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 8–15+ years of experience in solution architecture, AI architecture, enterprise application architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
- Strong experience designing and implementing AI/ML and GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on cloud architecture experience, preferably AWS.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, enterprise systems, and modern distributed architectures.
- Strong understanding of GenAI ecosystems, LLMs, and enterprise AI integration patterns.
- Experience working within regulated environments such as banking or financial services.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to balance architecture, solutioning, and practical implementation considerations.
Preferred Experience:
- Financial services, banking, payments, or fintech experience.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, SageMaker, or enterprise analytics platforms.
- Experience with AI governance, model risk management, or security-focused AI initiatives.
- Experience building and deploying AI-enabled applications in production environments.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, APIs, and enterprise integration platforms.
