On behalf of our client we are currently looking for an Experienced IT Architect (M/F):
Project/Customer background: For a leading client in the sports and outdoor retail industry, you will join the CDIO Office operating within a SAFe organization.
The mission is to act as an architecture reviewer and advisor across the IT portfolio (with a focus on the Core Systems domain: ERP, supply chain, logistics).
This role blends advisory governance with genuine hands-on integration capability to help free up the existing Enterprise Architecture team for target-state and roadmap work.
Based in Annecy (minimum 50% on-site per week).
Current Phase: Architecture Governance, Cloud-Native Integration Design, and Target-State Roadmap Support
Duration: 1 Year minimum (Starting Mid-September 2026 – renewable)
Language: English (Business fluency mandatory) / French (Asset)
Skills:
8+ years of significant experience in IT architecture, in a broad sense (solution, integration, and/or enterprise architecture).
Strong advisory and governance capabilities to review project designs, produce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and present to the Architecture Review Board. Strong, proven hands-on capability in cloud-native and integration architecture (AWS, APIs, event-driven patterns, microservices).
Demonstrated ability to review designs, provide technical arbitration, and argue architecture decisions with delivery teams, vendors, and management.
Comfortable operating in an agile-at-scale environment (SAFe or equivalent) to provide architecture inputs for quarterly PI planning.
Nice to have: Proven experience in AI architecture (RAG, LLM gateways, agentic use cases), experience in the supply chain/planning domain (SAP ECC or S/4HANA, o9), and familiarity with EA tools (SAP LeanIX).
