We are seeking a Technical Architect with strong Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) experience to support global MES initiatives across manufacturing sites.
This role will focus on technical design, system configuration, and integration, working closely with functional leads and ensuring scalable, high-quality implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and design for Siemens Opcenter MES solutions
- Configure and develop solutions using Opcenter (Camstar), Designer, and Portal Studio
- Define and implement system integrations (ERP, PLM, SCADA, etc.)
- Support data modeling, system performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with functional architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Work alongside SI partners and ensure technical quality and standards
- Support deployments, testing, validation, and go-live activities across manufacturing sites
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex MES technical issues
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and extensions
- Ensure compliance with GxP and validation requirements
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter / Camstar (mandatory)
- Proven experience as an MES Technical Architect or Senior Technical Lead
- Experience with system integrations (ERP, PLM, SCADA, shop floor systems)
- Strong technical skills:
- SQL / database management
- Scripting / configuration
- Data integration tools
- Experience supporting multi-site or global deployments
- Experience in regulated environments (GxP preferred)
- Ability to work on-site at manufacturing locations
Nice to Have
- Experience with ISA-95 / ISA-88 standards
- Exposure to IIoT / Industry 4.0 environments
- Familiarity with cloud or hybrid architectures
- Experience with DevOps / CI-CD for MES environments
