Role Summary
The SAP CAPEX, Fixed Assets & Leasing Consultant will support a large-scale global SAP S/4HANA transformation program by leading the design, deployment, and support of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), Asset Accounting, and Leasing processes. The consultant will work closely with Global Process Owners, Finance stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of standardized and compliant solutions across regional affiliates.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA CAPEX, Fixed Assets, and Leasing solutions.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to gather requirements and align business processes with the global template.
- Support investment management and capital project processes from planning through capitalization and asset retirement.
- Lead discussions and solution design related to IFRS 16 leasing requirements and SAP leasing functionality.
- Analyze process gaps and recommend scalable solutions aligned with global standards.
- Support integrations with Finance, Procurement, Project Systems, and other related processes.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Develop documentation and provide training and knowledge transfer to business users.
- Support compliance, audit, and financial reporting requirements related to assets and leasing.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in CAPEX, Fixed Assets (FI-AA), and Leasing.
- Extensive SAP S/4HANA implementation and global rollout experience.
- Strong understanding of investment management, asset lifecycle management, capitalization, depreciation, and retirement processes.
- Hands-on experience supporting IFRS 16 leasing processes within SAP.
- Experience supporting global SAP template deployments and localization requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale global transformation programs.
- Experience in highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) integration.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA best practices.
