Project overview
One of the key challenges that our Japanese companies face is globalization, i.e., standardizing enterprise architecture globally. There are not so many Japanese companies that attempt to transform themselves to a global company and there are not so many opportunities of working on globalization, however in this SAP project for our major Japanese clients, as they are now shifting to a global company, you will be able to work on such globalization opportunity. If you fulfill your
responsibility successfully and make this great transformation happen, you will get quite meaningful experience and bilingual coordination capabilities that majorities of the other Japanese clients show their interests for their globalization.
Job Responsibility
Contribute to client project as functional consultant position (the following are examples of key activities in typical global project)
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month
End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide
appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document
customer requirements
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to
more junior members
Required Qualifications Required (MUST):
• Native or business level of Japanese
(*JP level N2 or higher… JP resume may be required)
• 2+ years of SAP implementation experience, which must include business blueprint in FI/CO module
• Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA
• Good interpersonal skill with people including client and team members
• Understanding business processes and requirements in the areas of expertise (e.g. financial/managerial accounting, IFRS)
• Flexibility to develop solutions from multiple aspects (e.g. business procedure change, organizational change, technical solution)
• Ability to express your own opinion to client middle level (e.g. accounting division manager)
• Willingness to learn new packaged solutions, IT industry trends, methods and tools.
• Collaboration Experience with people with different nationalities and cultures.
• Capability to make work request and review the progress to offshore resources through documentation and verbal communication
