SAP S/4HANA BASIS Specialist (SME)
We are seeking a senior SAP BASIS (BC) Technical Expert to join a large-scale international transformation program. You will act as a hands-on SME, supporting the project through critical phases including Build, Testing, Cutover, and Go-live.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Act as the S/4HANA BASIS expert, managing system landscapes, transport routes (TMS/ChaRM), and performance monitoring.
Operations: Handle installations, kernel/SPS upgrades, SAP HANA DB administration, and system refreshes.
Project Lifecycle: Lead technical design workshops, risk assessments, and execution of cutover and hypercare activities.
Coordination: Direct offshore support teams and collaborate with infrastructure providers and integration partners.
Technical Requirements
Expertise: Extensive experience in SAP BASIS/BC specifically on S/4HANA.
Tools: Mastery of SAP NetWeaver, HANA DB, and Solution Manager (or Focused Run).
Environment: Proven track record in large-scale international deployments and cloud/hybrid architectures.
Methodology: Strong hands-on experience with technical go-live readiness and complex system copies.
Consultant Profile
Soft Skills: Highly autonomous, proactive, and capable of delivering under pressure during project milestones.
Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills in multi-cultural environments.
Languages: Fluent English is mandatory. French is preferred; German is a plus.
Location & Mobility
Onsite Presence:
Paris: 2–3 days per week.
Germany: One full week per month.
Flexibility: High availability required during cutover and go-live windows.
