HighJump Consultant (Dev & Support)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior HighJump Consultant with a hybrid profile, mastering both the development lifecycle and the application support (L2/L3) of complex WMS environments. The ideal professional combines strong technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and the HighJump platform (version 1.7, Architect, and AdvLink) with a sharp mindset tailored to logistics business processes.
We look for someone with critical thinking skills, a root-cause-analysis (RCA) focus, and a strong service mindset to fully grasp end-user requirements and translate them into stable, high-performance system solutions.
Technical Requirements
HighJump Platform & Integration
Solid Experience: Working knowledge of HighJump version 1.7. And above.
Core Tools: Proficiency in HighJump Architect for development, customization, and application maintenance.
Integration: Practical experience with Advantage Link for data interfaces and communication mapping.
WMS Ecosystem: Familiarity with warehouse operational flows utilizing RDTs (RF scanners), Voice Pick, and HighJump on iPad.
Database & Infrastructure (Critical Differentiator)
Advanced Microsoft SQL Server: Strong capability to write complex queries, read/debug stored procedures, execute intensive troubleshooting, and apply performance tuning techniques (mastery of SQL is the key to figuring out complex HJ behaviors).
Cloud Environment: General understanding of HighJump architecture deployed on Azure Cloud.
Monitoring & Tooling: Experience with DataDog (or similar observability tools) and Azure DevOps (ADO) / Jira for ticket, incident, and backlog management.
Version Control: Hands-on experience using GitHub for repository management and code tracking.
Business Processes & Soft Skills
Logistics & Warehousing Knowledge: Deep end-to-end understanding of warehouse operations (Receiving, Putaway, Waving, Picking, Packing, and Shipping).
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to dig beneath surface-level issues to perform effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
SAP Integration workflow: knowledge in integration flow with SAP.
Efficient Communication: Clear, logical, and to-the-point communication style with active listening skills to effectively align priorities with business stakeholders.
Cultural Fit: Demonstrates ownership, thrives in agile environments, and possesses a bold attitude toward driving continuous improvements.
Work Schedule & Engagement Details
Seniority: Mid-Level (Pleno).
Standard Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time).
Additional Availability: Essential flexibility for weekend shift coverage (Saturdays and Sundays) to support 24/7 operations, deployments, and peak maintenance windows.
