When my boss from my first company told me in 2012 that I would be attending the Salesforce Administrator course at the Sydney HQ, little did I know the Salesforce Admin Certification would catapult my career.

I recently passed my 7th Salesforce certification exam using a new technique (new for me anyways) and I decided to share it here. Don't worry, I'm a man of few words, so it's pretty short but also pretty sweet. :) I hope you will find it useful.

Life in big cities has many advantages and one of them is also having a testing center where you can take a Salesforce exam. The rest of us have two options — we can drive to a big city and take the exam there, or we can take an exam online. For years I thought that only the first option was the right choice for me, and I have to admit that I had an irrational fear from taking the online exam.

Salesforce has released yet another certificate! This time, the target audience is newcomers to Salesforce! The Salesforce Associate exam is an entry-level certification exam that tests your knowledge of Salesforce and its capabilities. The exam is designed for professionals who are new to Salesforce or have limited experience using the platform. The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions, which must be answered within 105 minutes.

Salesforce released the Business Analyst certification exam in July ‘22. As it was in really high demand here at Focus on Force, we created and released the Business Analyst Practice Exams back in October.

My meandering career following a degree in government started as maintenance programmer, then systems programmer, support engineer, test engineer, Salesforce administrator, and most recently community college math tutor. These occupations share a common process: Customer facing, Define problems, Devise solutions, and Map paths to resolution.
