On behalf of our client we are currently looking for a Database Administrator.
Project/Customer background: For an active client in the Banking and Wealth Management sector, we are looking for a Database Administrator.

Duration: 6 months

Activities
- DB Cluster & HA/DR Management: Administration of multi-instance MS SQL clusters, Always On, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Performance & Capacity Optimization: Execution plan/indexing tuning, resource governance, and capacity planning.
- Support & Knowledge Transfer: Assisting Dev/Ops/BI teams (ETL/Power BI) and conducting on-the-job peer training.
- Proactive Maintenance: Backup/restore execution, proactive monitoring, and automation of routine DB tasks.
Skills
- Core DB & OS Expertise: Solid background in MS SQL Server tuning/config, Windows Server, and cloud data services (e.g., Azure SQL).
- DB Security & Continuity: Hands-on experience with database hardening, HA/DR, PII masking, and retention policies.
- Soft Skills & English: Strong problem-solving skills, self-management, teamwork, and good English proficiency.
Nice-to-Have
Extended Tech Stack: Linux OS, multi-platform DBs (Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL), Data Governance, ETL/ELT, and scripting (PowerShell).
