AI Harness Codebase Hardening, AWS Migration, and Frontend Integration
2. Project Description
The objective of this project is the independent technical audit, hardening, and cloud migration of an existing AI harness codebase. The project focuses on the backend optimization of Python-based FastAPI and Node.js services, the containerization and deployment of the application to AWS via Docker, the implementation of automated test suites, and the frontend integration of Figma-based AI interface designs utilizing TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. The external contractor shall independently perform the scope of services described below, utilizing the contractor’s own equipment, expertise, and methods to deliver production-ready code modules and infrastructure configurations.
3. Scope of Services and Deliverables
The scope of services includes the following defined deliverables, which are independently performed by the external contractor:
A. Codebase Audit, Hardening, and Backend Development:
Technical Audit, Review, and Refactoring of the existing AI harness codebase (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) to optimize maintainability, performance, and code quality.
Implementation of software security best practices, input validation routines, and secrets management configurations across the full stack.
Development and Maintenance of FastAPI backend services and Node.js integration layers.
B. Cloud Migration and Infrastructure Containerization:
Containerization of application components utilizing Docker configurations and multi-stage build scripts.
Migration and Deployment of the application architecture from local environments to the designated AWS cloud ecosystem.
Configuration of version control workflows and CI/CD pipeline integration components (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to facilitate automated deployment routines.
C. Testing Strategy and Code Quality Assurance:
Design and Implementation of comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit test suites (pytest, Jest) and API/integration test scripts (pytest + httpx).
Execution of code quality auditing, static analysis, linting, and formatting routines (e.g., Ruff, Black, ESLint) to verify structural integrity.
D. Frontend Integration and Figma Handoff Execution:
Technical Interpretation and Implementation of Figma design tokens, component specifications, and handoff files into responsive frontend codebases using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Development of user interfaces for AI-driven features, including conversational UIs, AI output dashboards, and complex data visualization modules.
Creation and Provision of structured technical documentation detailing system architecture, API schemas, and maintenance workflows to ensure long-term knowledge transfer.
4. Performance Goal
The performance of the contractor is directed toward the independent provision of hardened backend source code, Dockerized AWS infrastructure deployments, automated test frameworks, and responsive Figma-integrated frontend modules.
