Role Description (Public)
On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Senior Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Consultant:
Project/Customer background:
The role focuses on supporting and enhancing global transportation and supply chain visibility solutions within a complex international IT landscape. The consultant will contribute to end-to-end Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) processes and integrations across multiple enterprise systems, ensuring efficient logistics execution, carrier connectivity, and real-time visibility across the supply chain.
Current Phase:
The project is in an ongoing delivery and enhancement phase, focusing on integration between OTM and multiple enterprise platforms, improving transportation execution, visibility capabilities, and supporting business-critical logistics operations.
Skills:
University degree from a specialized school
At least 5 years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), covering Order Management, Transportation Planning & Execution, Freight Bill & Payments, Supply Chain Visibility, and Event Management
Experience in carrier onboarding for visibility purposes
Strong understanding of global visibility ecosystems (ILMCT, OTM, Geodis, SAP ECC, SAP S/4, Fourkites, direct carrier integration)
Knowledge of integration challenges between multiple systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4, OTM, ILMCT, etc.)
Good understanding of visibility data providers such as Project44 (P44) and Fourkites
Experience with full lifecycle implementations (3–5 end-to-end implementations, at least one in Agile/DevOps environments)
Strong understanding of transportation business requirements and OTM solution capabilities
Experience in setting up interfaces between OTM and SAP ECC / S/4, P44, and Fourkites
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience with transport-related ancillary systems and B2B integrations (e.g., HERE, P44, Fourkites)
Ability to design, develop, test, and document end-to-end solutions
Experience supporting live systems, including testing and verification activities
Ability to support training and enablement of key users
Experience in data conversion, data migration, and data validation activities
Strong integration knowledge, including mapping specification development for SAP middleware (PI/PO)
Understanding of overall integration architecture and delivery methodology (SCRUM / Agile)
Ability to identify best practices, lessons learned, and improve delivery processes
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with experience working in global, cross-functional teams
Ability to manage fast-paced environments and multiple stakeholders
Strong team player with ability to lead and drive delivery of IT solutions
