Notes: We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Data Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of our modern data stack. You won’t just be drawing diagrams; you will be "in the trenches" building robust pipelines and solving critical production defects. A significant portion of this role involves harmonizing our data strategy with Salesforce Data Cloud across multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities
Rapid Problem Solving: Take full ownership of the data environment, resolving complex data cloud defects with same-day urgency to ensure high system availability.
Multi-Project Delivery: Concurrently lead the architectural design and hands-on development for multiple high-priority data initiatives.
Salesforce Integration: Act as the subject matter expert for Salesforce Data Cloud, ensuring seamless data ingestion, transformation, and unified customer profiling.
Automated Validation: Design and implement "Same-Day Comparison" frameworks to ensure data consistency between source systems and the cloud layer.
Pipeline Engineering: Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark), SQL, and dbt.
Technical Skill Set (Must-Haves)
Cloud Data Platforms: Hands-on mastery of Snowflake, Databricks, or Google BigQuery.
Salesforce Ecosystem: Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (Genie) and integration patterns with external data lakes.
Programming: Expert-level Python and advanced SQL (window functions, performance tuning).
DataOps: Proficiency in Terraform (IaC) and managing deployments via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab).
Architecture Patterns: Experience with Medallion (Lakehouse) or Data Vault 2.0 architectures.
