Senior Salesforce Developer
6+ Month Contract (ongoing)
Location: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday–Thursday in NYC (Wall Street)
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer on a contract basis to support the design, development, and delivery of Salesforce solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, requiring strong development expertise, the ability to work through ambiguity, and collaboration with product and technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is comfortable building scalable solutions, contributing to technical design, and working closely with distributed teams to drive high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions across the platform (Apex, LWC, integrations)
● Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
● Partner with product owners and stakeholders to refine requirements and solution approach
● Collaborate with offshore and distributed development teams
● Contribute to code quality, technical standards, and best practices
● Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
● Remain hands-on in development while contributing to overall solution design

Required Experience
● 5–8+ years of Salesforce development experience
● Strong hands-on experience with:
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
SOQL/SOSL
Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
● Experience working in complex Salesforce environments
● Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
● Experience working with Agile development methodologies
● Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
● Experience working with offshore or distributed teams
● Exposure to Salesforce architecture or solution design
● Consulting experience
● Experience in fast-paced, product-driven environments
● Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II preferred)

– Senior Salesforce Developer opening supporting Success Academy's upcoming Florida launch (target go-live 8/1) within an existing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud environment.
– Looking for a hands-on senior developer who can independently interpret requirements, participate in grooming sessions, estimate work, and deliver with minimal oversight.
– Team follows Agile delivery with weekly backlog refinement, story pointing, and sprint planning led by BAs and development leadership.
– Current focus is improving development velocity and reducing QA bottlenecks caused by stories being completed late in the sprint.
– 6-month contract- supporting a mature Salesforce environment with GitHub Actions-based deployments and established DevOps processes.
– Interview process consists of 1-2 meetings (including f2f in NYC)
– Hybrid onsite in NYC with flexibility around hours as long as work is delivered.
