Mission Context
Our is looking for a Senior PIM & DAM Application Engineer to reinforce its centralized Competence Center.
The role is key in supporting multiple brands across the group and acting as a strong counterpart to the PIM Application Manager.
The consultant will ensure business continuity, contribute to platform improvements, support new brand onboarding, and coordinate with external partners and agencies.
This position requires a hands-on, autonomous, and solution-oriented profile with strong experience in PIM/DAM environments, especially Contentserv.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support for group-wide PIM/DAM-related incidents, service requests, and technical issues
- Ensure smooth platform operations and take ownership of troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Act as backup to the PIM Application Manager when needed, ensuring continuity of service
- Perform system configuration, workflow updates, mappings, and functional adjustments in Contentserv and related platforms
- Deliver minor to mid-level customizations, including scripting, debugging, and API/integration-related changes
- Collaborate with external agencies and technical partners, ensuring quality follow-up on implementations
- Support the onboarding of new brands into the centralized PIM/DAM ecosystem
- Participate in project activities such as requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and implementation support
- Contribute to platform optimization, operational standards, and best practices across the group
- Maintain accurate technical and functional documentation
- Identify improvement opportunities related to processes, system performance, and support efficiency
- Help define and enhance standard operating procedures for PIM/DAM usage across the organization
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with PIM/DAM platforms, especially Contentserv
- Experience with Bynder is a strong advantage
- Good understanding of:
- data modeling
- data quality
- taxonomy and metadata structures
- product information flows
- Practical experience with APIs and integrations:
- REST
- SOAP
- JSON
- Good technical troubleshooting and debugging capabilities
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
- SQL
- scripting
- automation concepts
- Ability to read, write, and adapt PHP scripts for workflow or integration adjustments
- Familiarity with middleware, ESB or iPaaS environments, and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
- Good understanding of ITIL-oriented support processes
- Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis for performance or incident investigation
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, application engineering, or system administration
- Previous exposure to PIM/DAM environments is strongly preferred
- Autonomous, proactive, and able to work with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Structured, reliable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with business users, technical teams, vendors, and external partners
- Comfortable working across brands, teams, and international stakeholders
- High sense of ownership and responsibility in business-critical application support
- Advanced knowledge or certification in Contentserv is a plus
