Engagement Details
- Start date: 1st September 2026
- End date: 31st December 2027
- Work mode: Remote within Italy (preferably Lombardy), with availability to attend on-site during the initial phase for onboarding, team introduction, and familiarization with the working environment.
- Nice to have: Occasional availability to work from the office in Lombardy (BG) (a plus, but not mandatory).
- Language: Italian + basic English knowledge (occasional short calls with international technical teams may occur).
- Working hours:4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, in the afternoon
- 2 mornings per week (4 hours each)
SharePoint Area
Context
Within an enterprise environment based on Microsoft SharePoint, we are looking for a SharePoint Specialist responsible for managing and evolving the corporate intranet, ensuring operational stability, user support, and contributing significantly to the consolidation and continuous improvement of a collaborative ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and administer SharePoint Online (sites, document libraries, permissions, and access rights)
- Provide operational support for the corporate intranet (news publishing, homepage management, and daily content updates)
- Manage user tickets and change requests
- Support intranet governance and site structure management
- Monitor site storage and configuration (with partial administrative access)
- Support and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps and Power Automate)
- Collaborate with business users and departments to gather requirements and manage requests
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in IT
- At least 6 months of experience with SharePoint
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online and enterprise collaboration tools
- Experience managing content and permissions
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with both business and IT users
Desired / Future Potential
Knowledge of SPFx development and stronger technical capabilities would be considered a plus.
In a longer-term perspective (2027), these skills could allow the resource, with appropriate onboarding and support, to gradually take over additional activities .
RPA / Automation Area
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to progressively expand their responsibilities beyond SharePoint by becoming involved in process automation and system integration activities.
The resource will follow an on-the-job training path aimed at gradually developing knowledge of the technologies used internally.
The role will involve supporting activities related to UiPath and automation/integration processes between business systems, particularly involving:
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
- CPM
The role does not require advanced development skills or direct debugging of automation workflows. Instead, the focus will be on:
- Analysis and management of operational issues and troubleshooting activities
- Identification of root causes and escalation to the appropriate stakeholders
- Coordination with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues
- Understanding integration logic between applications and business processes
Soft Skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, considering the sensitivity of the topics managed
- Practical mindset with a problem-solving approach
- Strong operational common sense when handling permissions, content, and sensitive requests
- Reliability in managing a business-critical platform
- Ability to work with non-technical users, evaluate requests, and operate securely
- Analytical thinking skills
- Curiosity and interest in technology, with a willingness to continuously develop knowledge in the SharePoint ecosystem and openness to learning supporting technologies, including automation tools such as UiPath.
